Halton Hills Bike Challenge

The Halton Hills Bike Challenge is underway!

Should the members of the community log 400,000 km (the distance to the moon and back), the Georgetown Hospital will receive a donation of $85,000 from local businesses.

As of today, there are approximately 120,000 km left in order to achieve this goal.

Information on the Halton Hills Bike Challenge can be found on the web site at:  www.haltonhillsbikechallenge.ca.

The purpose of the challenge is to increase active transportation, engage the community in cycling for fun, raise the profile of cycling, and align the members of the community to the physical benefits of daily activity.

2017 Fun Pass

This summer, celebrate Ontario’s 150th anniversary by planning a trip to Ontario’s attractions with the 2017 Fun Pass.

To help families celebrate this milestone, we are expanding the Fun Pass so that two children, not one, get free admission to 18 popular attractions when accompanied by one paying adult or senior. Parents also save $5 on a daily parking permit at most Ontario provincial parks.

Simply bring a coupon – found at Ontario.ca/funpass – to any participating attraction.

Visit our website in June for more information about the Fun Pass program and to download the e-pass.
